Welcome to episode 121 of Beyond The Veil: The Secret World where the cast starts off the New 2015 Year by going back over the Christmas Events that have just concluded.
We also cover the MMOPRG.com The Great MMO Face-Off contest. TSW battled against Eve Online for the third place and came out victorious. Battle for the first place waged between Lord of the Rings and The Elder Scrolls. The Elder Scrolls were the overall winner of the contest. So it didn’t seem so bad losing to ESO in the semi-finals considering they actually won. TSW community made us proud once more to be a part of it!
Another thing that caught our eye and made us laugh was a post by Hyrulian on the Forums, check it out.
Things I Learned On My First Day As a PvP Healer – by Hyrulian
- The Templar heal suit is an angry bird.
- The raid window is for more than just seeing who is in your raid.
- Healers play a mini-game of hide and seek as depleting green bars in your raid window do not mean that the targets are in range or within your LoS.
- HP bars are of the devil and will often lie to you, telling you your teammates have double their actual HP or they have no HP or they are not full HP when, in fact, they are.
- Doing the haka (any form of fist healing) draws unwanted attention.
- LoS is your friend. I shall buy it cookies.
- Your teammates run away from you. A lot. I suppose my healer suit is off-putting. I would run from a giant angry bird as well.
- You are the last one to get sprint up.
- Heal targeting has ADHD and will randomly become bored with the same target and choose another. Shouting, “Why is it doing that?!”, does not fix it.
- Defensive stats aren’t just for tanks
