Funcom and The Secret World have already hinted to tons of cool and exciting stuff coming our way in The Secret World in the coming weeks and months ahead. Celebrating first anniversary is a big deal and they are starting us off on our adventure by giving us a Black Weekend Event filled with bonuses and free giveaways.
Black Weekend Event will begin this Friday the 14th at 3PM CET (9AM EST) and last until Monday the 17th of June at 3PM CET (9AM EST). Special bonuses given away during the upcoming Black Weekend Event are:
- Double experience points (XP) – you will be able to claim a free potion in the Item Store which will double the XP you earn from killing monsters. Each potion will last for 8 hours and can only be claimed once in 24 hours, so use them wisely.
- Bonus Black Bullions – every time you would normally get a Black Bullion in game, such as from killing a monster in Nightmare Dungeons or by using Condenser of Quintessence, you will get one extra bonus one!
In addition to these awesome bonuses, you will also get:
– free black boots that you can claim from the Item Store
– free month of membership for every new player you recruit during the Black Weekend Event (this is in addition to the Veteran Points you normally get or $15 worth of Bonus Points you get if you are a Grand Master)
