The Secret World Anniversary Extended!!!

The Secret World announced that they will be extending the Celebrations for their first year anniversary.

The special deals comprising the shop discounts, potions, AP boost, SP boost, etc will still end at the original time, but the Guardians of Gaia Golems however will stay active until July 15th at 13:00 GMT / 9am EDT/ 6am PDT!.

According to Morteia, Funcom’s Community Manager, there have been issues with PvP queuing for Fusang. Those who wish to get their hands on the Golem pet will have more time to achieve that goal. The important patch on Tuesday July 9th should fix the issues with Fusang queuing and also launch Issue #7.

Below is what you have been missing this weekend in TSW. Remember, only the Golems will still be around after Tuesday till the 15th.

The best way to play this event is to subscribe to the Anniversity channel. To do this type /chat join anniversity to join the channel, remember you can click the + in the upper right corner to add it. You will have to reenter the above command every time you log in. Two very prominent players in the channel are Wrong-Way & Rumeyes, remember to do as they direct, only call out spotting of the Gatekeeper or Golems.

Spotting:
Once seeing the Gatekeeper or the Golems, get your server and dimension by using shift + f9 and look in your chat. Say this in the Anniversity channel with what place you are at to help identify different sessions of the same zone boss. Use abbreviation for the places you are at like KM for Kingsmouth, or CotSG for City of the Sun God.

Lore:
For the lore hunters out there, there are special Event Lore in game now. To help you hunt them down, we got in the game marked the coordinates and took some screen shots to help you locate them faster.

Kingsmouth – coordinates: 684, 696. Right side of Edgard Scrapyard near a little hut.
Savage Coast – coordinates: 18,564. On the rock, above the sea.
Blue Mountain – coordinates: 618,256. On the rock side south of the Factory. You can pick up up from the road.
Scorched Desert – coordinates: 516,632. In the middle of the fire rift/scar. If your character is really low on health (QL 1-4), pair up with a healer who will heal you while you get the lore.
The City of the Sun God – coordinates: 760,892. In one of the craters. Again, if your character is really low on health (QL 1-4), pair up with a healer who will heal you while you get the lore.
Besieged Farmlands – coordinates:1223, 1259 Just when you leave Agartha in Besieged Farmlands, hard to miss.
Shadowy Forest – coordinates: 444,546. Under a small bridge near the Lone Cabin in the South West corner, double click on it.
Carpathian Fangs – coordinates:474,1218 Just when you leave Agartha in Carpathian Fangs, hard to miss.

Please mark them on your map so you don’t have to ask people where you need to go.
