Can you walk us through the process that follows after a player reports a potential bug?
What sort of stuff do you look for first when testing a new mission or feature?
Can you still enjoy TSW as a player despite your knowledge of its inner workings?
What’s the most hilarious bug ever reported?
What bug tracking software(s) do you use? (e.g. Fogbugz, Bugzilla, Jira, etc)?
Has anything ever gone live, then you get a bug report and think “How did we miss that?”
But what do you consider a bug and what how many player reported bugs match those criteria?
Does the QA team just test new stuff when a new release is in development, or do some of them go back to “the beginning” to see if any new stuff caused bugs in existing zones/missions/etc?
Are they really bugs, or more like features? Where do you land on this matter?
We know that Quality Assurance is tasked with discovering and reporting on bugs in the game. Do you have any input in regards to prioritizing the fixes? Or is that fully in the developer’s hands?
