If you are a fan of The Secret World and Beyond The Veil talk show, you’ve probably heard about our 1st anniversary coming up on July, 3rd. As announced on our live show last Thursday, we will be kicking off with our 1st year anniversary celebrations a bit early this year with several contests that could win you some pretty awesome prizes.
In addition to The Fashion Show, we have already announced our Logo and Commercial contests. For now, let’s talk a little bit about the contests we have already announced and provide you with some guidelines, rules and information on how to enter them as well as let you know about the prizes you could win.
BEYOND THE VEIL FASHION SHOW
Fashion is a big part of The Secret World and to that end we will be hosting a Fashion Show Event in-game at The Crusades in London starting at 7PM EST this coming Thursday, June 27th.
REGISTRATION:
Contestants have to register via comments on a Forum post or by sending us an email to [email protected] with their in-game name. Contestants must attend the fashion show in The Crusades in London. If they need a dimension transfer, meet up with Zander or Antida in game. Contestants must arrive before 7pm EST and be present in The Crusades for the duration of the show.
RULES:
Contestants may only enter one outfit. One piece uniforms are NOT allowed (example: faction uniform, deck uniform, complete item shop outfit).
Contestants may mix and match clothing items from all over The Secret World. Use of items from the item store, decks and unlocks are permitted, as long as it’s not a one piece uniform.
Contestants will one by one stand on the stage when poked and say in in-game chat what they are wearing.
Contestants will move off stage when poked to make way for the next contestant, failure to do so means disqualification.
Beyond The Veil panelists will judge on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. After all entries are shown, we will announce winner based on the highest number of total votes. In case of a tie, we will have a Catwalk Survivor contest.
Catwalk survivor contestants will have 5 min to put together a new outfit to win. In case of a tie, this will continue until there is a winner
PRIZES:
1st place – WELOVEFINE in-game title (Firestarter) and in-game t-shirt (Kawaii Revenant), 2400 Funcom bonus points, Faction dog tag
2nd place – WELOVEFINE in-game title (Firestarter) and in-game t-shirt (Kawaii Revenant), Faction dog tag
3rd place – WELOVEFINE in-game title (Firestarter), Faction dog tag
COLLECTION OF PRIZES:
Winners will be PMed by Beyond the Veil staff in game to pass on prize codes. In game prize codes can be claimed by logging into your account at THESECRETWORLD.com. All prizes will be transmitted via in-game PM system. Physical dog tags will be sent to you by Funcom using the linked home address attached to your TSW game account. Please make sure your address is up to date as Beyond the Veil will not responsible for dog tags being sent to incorrect addresses. It is the responsibility of the contestant to make sure the address on their FUNCOM account is correct and up to date!
