On the first Turn of A Worthy Opponent, Blacklace and Autumnsbane talk about Hearthstone, the live, on line, interactive collectible trading card game by Blizzard Entertainment, currently in the closed Beta Testing of its progress.

They open with a brief introduction about themselves, so that you know who they are and where they come from with decades of gaming experience (and so they can spend future turns talking about the game and NOT themselves). They talk about what to expect as a new player, the basic concepts of the game, and what a beginner might experience the first few times at play. They provide an overview of their experiences and expectations, with a little comparison to the Grandfather of CCG’s, Magic the Gathering and the King of all MMO’s, World of Warcraft. They read questions tweeted to them, further discussing the social and financial aspects of the game.

Future episodes will see discussions on The Arena, general card abilities, more on daily quests, card debates, Hero Lore and more.
